EMBLEM Solvent Film glossy, cast
Self adhesive, poured Vinyl foil with a glossy surface, backed with silicone paper.
The white, shining coating is water resistant when using solvent ink.
The use duration of the foil outdoors is up to 7 years. The life span with external use refers to the used foil and the used adhesive. This is however no warranty for the life span of the product because this is dependent on to many other factors, such as the used ink. Varnishings have to be cured completely. To check compatibility between the glue and the varnish the user is advised to make tests before application. To avoid fingerprints it is advisable to wear cotton gloves.

EMBLEM Solvent Solvent Film glossy, polymeric IV
Adhesive vinyl-foil with a glossy surface, covered on the backside with siliconpaper. Prints on this foil are waterresistant using solvent inks. We advise the use of lamination film also for solvent prints to protect them from abrasion. After printing it is necessary to wait for an outright drying of the print to avoid diffusion of the solvent through the foil which could damage the glue or cause lumps or delamination. It is possible to use the foil for outside applications up to 7 years. This is referenced to the foil and the glue but not to the print. The subsurfaces to be paste up with the foil have to be free of dust and grease. Varnishings have to be cured completely. Adhesive vinyl film with a glossy surface, covered on the backside with a single-side coated paper (130g/sqm). Prints on this film are waterresistant using solvent inks. It is possible to use the prints for medium-term outside advertising up to 1 or 2 years. We advise the use of lamination film also for solvent prints to protect them from abrasion. After printing, it is necessary to wait for an outright drying of the print to avoid diffusion of the solvent through the foil which could damage the glue or cause lumps or delamination.
